Goal
To provide education and culturally specific
information to the Latino community in the Village of Woodridge.
This is accomplished through:

npromotion
of available resources,
-
nincreasing
the awareness of their own personal safety, and
-
naddressing
the cultural differences in our community thereby
contributing to changing unsafe behaviors.
Tasks
-
nReview
of existing educational programs and making recommendations
for those programs that should be translated into Spanish
for delivery to the community;
n

nBuilding
internal support from their respective member agencies and
organizations by conducting in-house awareness classes in
conjunction with the Director of Latino Affairs and the
coalition’s community leader (s);

nDelivery
of program (s) to the community
