Welcome

To the residents of the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Board of Fire Commissioners and the men and women of the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about the services the Fire District provides. The primary mission of the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District is to provide a variety of services designed to protect the lives and property of those people within the District from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies or the exposure to dangerous conditions caused by man or nature.

To meet this mission, the Fire District employs some of the highest skilled and trained firefighter/paramedics in the country. Each is committed to protecting our community while continually identifying ways to improve delivery of emergency services. The Fire District is proud of our ability to maintain the Insurance Services Office (ISO) Class 1 rating, while addressing emerging trends throughout the community. We continue to make the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District a better and safer place to live, work and recreate during an ever changing social, economic and political environment.

Before leaving our website, take some time to learn about the many services and programs we provide. Our biggest responsibility is to educate our residents about fire and life safety. Through education and enforcement, we can prevent the tragic effects of fires and sudden emergency medical emergencies. Please do not hesitate to request our assistance in providing educational opportunities for your family or community group. We enjoy the opportunity to meet the people we serve.

Thank you for the privilege of serving such a great community. I would also like to encourage you to follow us on Twitter @lwfdnews and like our Facebook page for up-to-date news and information about District activities.

Respectfully,
Keith A. Krestan
Fire Chief
