Promotions and Swearing-In
A Promotion and Swearing-In Ceremony will be held at
Headquarters/Station 1, 1005 School Street, Lisle at 3PM on
Sunday, February 24, 2008. There will be five individuals
receiving recognition at his event.
Lieutenant Ken Swanson is being promoted to Captain. Lt. Swanson joined
the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District in July, 1982, and was promoted to
Lieutenant in 1995.
Lieutenant Jeff Johnson will also be promoted to Captain. Lt.
Johnson joined the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District in June 1990,
and was promoted to Lieutenant in January 2003. He is a member
of the Technical Rescue Team and, since 2000, an instructor at
the Illinois Fire Service Institute.
FF I Tim Capua will be promoted to Lieutenant. He joined the
District on his birthday in September 1989 and was promoted to
FF I in 1992. He is an American Heart Association BLS Regional
Faculty member, served as District CPR Coordinator, currently
serves as Chairman of the Safety Committee, and is a member of
the Executive Board of Local 2986.
FF I Bob Spickerman joined the District in March of 1989. FF I
Spickerman will also be promoted to Lieutenant.
The newest member of the District is James Loehman who will be
sworn in as a Fire Medic.
