Fire Prevention Bureau

The Fire Prevention Bureau plays a key role in our Fire Protection District and is responsible for many aspects of public fire and life safety including, but not limited to: inspections, code enforcement, plan review and fire investigation.

The Fire Prevention Bureau is staffed with a Chief, a Full-Time Inspector, seven (7) Part-Time Inspectors and two Part-Time Senior Volunteers. The Bureau is proud to take a pro-active approach to making this a safer community and we know that a minute of Fire Prevention can save many hours of suppression. Our goal is to improve both internal and external communications to our citizens and other community organizations.

The Fire Prevention Bureau Staff invites you to stop by our office, visit and see for yourself what we do. We are located at 3101 Woodridge Drive in Woodridge and our phone number is (630) 353-3030.
